To do our part to accommodate our services around COVID-19, the Small Business Centre will be operating remotely and in-person until further notice.
In partnership with the City of Barrie and other community partners, we have developed a Business Information and Support During COVID-19 resource page. To see the list of resources available, click here.
Please access our services via remote means as follows:
- Inquiries: Please contact us by phone at 705 720 2445 or email at smallbusiness@barrie.
- Meetings: Any meetings or consultations arranged will have the choice of an in-person or virtual format via phone or video conference (if applible, details will be forwarded shortly).
- Workshops: All workshops and seminars will continue to be delivered through video conference. More details n be found on our event page.
- We will continue to be available to assist you via phone and email during our regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Our firm intention is to continue to support small business owners in Barrie, Simcoe County and Orillia during this period. Please rest assured that we remain committed to assisting you and your business and we will be posting regular updates and advice. Students aged 15-29 are eligible to receive mentorship, training and up to $3,000 to start a summer business!
